Applications for the 2024 Rabobank Farm 2 Future camp are now open and will be closing on Wednesday 5 June. The Farm 2 Future camp is a collaboration between Rabobank and Lincoln University, with the camp hosted by Lincoln University staff and Future Leader scholarship students.
The Farm 2 Future camp is designed to introduce students to the agri-food industry, and to explore potential career paths within the sector. Farm or industry experience and knowledge is not required, in fact students that have not been exposed to the agriculture industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
The camp is held over three days (a two-night stay) and students will visit a variety of farms and businesses with a strong focus on the "Paddock to Plate" supply chain. All accommodation and food is included and has been kindly sponsored by Rabobank. The only student requirement is being able to transport themselves to and from Lincoln University, for the opening and conclusion of the camp.
Students can apply online for the 2024 Rabobank Farm 2 Future camp. The application process involves a few quick questions to answer, and a short video for students to introduce themselves and what they are hoping to gain from attending the camp.
Similar successful camps have been run by Lincoln University staff and Future Leader scholarship students in previous years. Find out more in this article from the 2023 Agri-Ventures camp.
