Building communities is an integral part of the Rolleston College spirit and our values, to collaborate, communicate and connect.
Our community network aims to enable local businesses, alumni, friends and supporters of the school to stay connected, provide tangible support and engage with our school whānau whilst also strengthening our position within the wider Rolleston community.
We aim to build partnerships with local businesses and people to enable mentorship programs, internships, or cooperative education opportunities that will provide learners with real-world experience and foster a sense of community engagement.
We want to empower our learners to take the lead on collaborative community projects and initiatives and give back to our local community and organisations through service and charity.
As part of our community network, you can share your events, projects and news with us, involve learners in opportunites, volunteer and donate your time and expertise.
Sign up to become part of our community network database and receive our weekly newsletter, The Lancewood.
Throughout the school year there will be plenty of opportunities to engage and be involved with our school whānau.
As part of our community network, there are many wonderful opportunities to engage with our school whānau by volunteering your time or expertise and enrich the experiences offered to our students.
This could involve assisting in classrooms, organising and supporting events or sharing your expertise with students and is often a great way of meeting fellow parents and community members.
