Kia ora, we’re Hollie and Lachlan and we're your whānau captains for Ngāhuru this year. We’re excited to represent our whānau, taking on new responsibilities and helping younger students at Rolleston College. Here are a few bits of information to help you to learn more about us. What's your favourite food?

Hollie: anything from Subway.

Lachlan: steak.

What’s a good memory of your time at Rolleston College?

Hollie: Doing dance for NZ MADE in year 11.

Lachlan: Representing Rolleston College at volleyball nationals in May 2024.

What’s your favourite animal and why?

Hollie: Dog, because I have two dogs named Scruffy and Toby.

Lachlan: Dog, because they’re man’s best friend.

What’s your goal for Ngāhuru as whānau captain this year?

Hollie: To be more engaging with younger students, lead in celebrations and help out in Ako classes.

Lachlan: To be more inspiring for the younger generation.

What one word sums up your leadership quality?

Hollie: Enthusiasm.

Lachlan: Courage.
