Rolleston College Spirit Day

The purpose of Spirit Day is to bring the Rolleston Spirit to the forefront for all our learners.

Learners took part in four rotations in their whānau, and enjoyed listening to our Tumuaki/Principal Rachel Skelton, as well as the student leaders. They also spent time in Ako and Advisory, discussing expectations for the year ahead.

Whānau practised their chants for the upcoming whānau sports day (1 March).

One of the rotations was at Selwyn Sports Centre, organised by Mr Gebbie and our sports leaders. Learners had the opportunity to try wheelchair basketball and slalom, supported by Parafed Canterbury.

Our learners thoroughly enjoyed the day and we're looking forward to living the values of the Rolleston Spirit this year.

This week, learners can sign up for activities:

Wednesday: Sports

Thursday: Arts and Culture

Friday: Service and Clubs.
