The 6-day timetable has many benefits, including more contact time between learners and teachers over the term, and classes on Mondays or Fridays not always being missed due to public holidays.
Here's an example of a 6-day timetable.
The timetable is mapped to the days of the week.
Wednesday 7 February is the first day of our teaching timetable, so the cycle begins on day 1. The second timetable shows the same learner as above with classes for each day of the week.
On a non-school day like Good Friday (Friday 29 March), the cycle pauses and starts again the next school day.
Thursday 28 March is day 1, then we continue after Easter on Wednesday 3 April with day 2.
Learners can log into Schoolbridge to view their timetable for the week (or any week if they need to look ahead). They are encouraged to record their weekly schedule in their school diary, which has been issued this week.
