Omiya International Secondary School visit

We had a mihi whakatau to welcome ten students and two faculty from Saitama Municial Omiya International Secondary School  (さいたま市立大宮国際中等教育学校). They will be with us for one week.

Our schools signed a memorandum of understanding to formalise our exchange agreement with Omiya.

Students from one school in any one year can visit the partner school for a period of up to two weeks.

The purpose of the exchange and the educational and cultural/linguistic outcomes of the programme is to experience the host culture and language in a total immersion environment. It's intended that students attend classes in the host school and join in extra-curricular activities where possible.

Under the terms of the agreement, no educational or homestay fees will be charged.

We look forward to developing a strong relationship with Omiya!
